The City of Oakley Recreation Division offers a number of summer camps for children of all ages including Summer Blaze Day Camp, Youth CORE, LEGO Camp, Wizardry Camp and more. A full list of summer camps will be available in the Summer 2018 Recreation Guide.

Ages: 6-11 years old
June 18-29
July 9-20
Time: 11am- 4pm
$12 per day or $55 for a five day punch card (punch cards are non-transferable and non-refundable)
Locations: Mondays at Daffodil Park, Tuesdays at Novarina Park, Wednesdays at Creekside Park, Thursdays at Novarina Park, Fridays at Creekside Park.

Summer Blaze Day Camp is back! Join us for another fun-filled program with exciting new games, arts and crafts and your favorite water games! Come prepared to beat the heat with clothes that can get wet, a towel, sunscreen, water and a sack lunch. Youth Committed to Ongoing Revitalization Efforts Program is designed for youth grades 6th to 11th. This provides youth the opportunity to help improve their community. Each morning begins with a community service activity followed by team building and recreational activities. Each participant must bring a bag lunch, sunscreen, water & clothes that can get wet. Participants have the opportunity to earn free trips on Fridays! Care is not provided for those who do not attend the trips.

BrixTech Camp (Formerly Lego Camp)

Age: 9-14 years old

Are you ready for bigger Lego projects? BrixTec is all about fun new projects using technology, engineering and coding with Lego! We will learn or sharpen our programming skills using Lego Mindstorm robots to team up for exciting engineering and coding challenges. We will take on a bigger engineering projects, pushing out bricks to the limit! Snacks and a Lego creation to take home are provided. Register by June 4 to receive a special Lego mini-figurine.

BrixCamp (Formerly Lego Camp)

BrixCamp is an exciting day full of awesome Lego experiences! In a room stocked full of organized Lego, expert builder Mr. Pitter will lead creative building experiences,
from fun contests to exciting team competitions. Campers will learn building techniques and expand their creativity through engaging activities, and will have access to many
different Lego themes such as City, Friends, Star Wars, and Minecraft, for play and inspiration. Daily snacks are provided, and every camper wins a prize! Register by Monday, June 4 to receive a special mini-figurine!

Wizardry Camp

Age: 6-12 years old

Instructor: Challenge Island Staff

Calling all muggles for the Challenge Island Wonderful World of Wizardry Camp! Our wizarding tribes will take on spellbinding STEAM challenges from designing magic
wands to building a Hogwarts castle to mixing up mystical potions. This popular camp is every bit as magical as it sounds – a must for every Potter fan!

Slime Squad Camp

Age: 6-12 years old
315 Fifth Street
Date: 6/11-6/15
9am- Noon, $180 for Oakley Residents, $190 for Non-Residents

Are you slime crazy? Do you love making squishy, squeezy stuff? If so, Challenge Island Slime Squad Camp is the place for you! You and a tribeful of friends will dive into a new slime-filled world every day, from alien ooze to ghostly goo to monster muck to lava, too! No matter how you stretch it, Challenge Island Slime Squad Camp promises to be a STEAM-riffic adventure of a lifetime! $10 lab fee pay able to instructor at first class.

Tennis Camp

Age: 4-18 years old
Diamond Hills Sports Club
Date: Weekly sessions beginning on 6/11
Half Day- 9am- Noon, $125 for Oakley Residents, $135 for Non-Residents Full Day- 9am- 4pm, $185 for Oakley Residents, $195 for Non-Residents

Tennis campers spend fun-filled days learning new skills, participating in fun drills, and competing in inter-club matches and tournaments! The one-week program is supervised by DHSC Tennis Director Craig Lazarachik and a staff of certified tennis instructors. Campers can also participate in optional supervised swimming, as well as
SNAG Golf, a proven learning and training tool for entry level golfers.

Skyhawks Basketball

Age: 6-8 years old

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. An active week of passing, shooting, dribbling, and rebounding makes this one of
our most popular programs. Our basketball staff will also focus on respect, teamwork, and responsibility. All participants receive a T-shirt, basketball, and Skyhawks
Award Medal.

Skyhawks Multi-Sport Camp

Age: 7-12 years old

This action packed outdoor Multi-Sport program allows your child to play all of their favorite games in one setting. For this program, we combine Soccer, Basketball, and
playground games such as Dodgeball into one fun-filled session! Your young athlete will learn the essential rules, strategies, and skills of each sport, along with vital life
lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. All participants receive a T-shirt and award medal. Participate should wear appropriate clothing and bring snacks, a
water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen.

Skyhawks Mini Hawk Camp

Age: 4-6 years old

This ultimate multi-sport camp combines baseball, golf, soccer, and track & field allowing young athletes to develop a passion for a variety of sports in one fun-filled
setting. Participants explore balance, body movement, coordination, self-esteem, teamwork, sportsmanship, and sport specific skill development in a structured environment with lots of encouragement! All participants receive a Skyhawks Soccer Ball, T-shirt and Award Medal. Participate should wear appropriate clothing, snacks, a
water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen.

Skyhawks Flag Football Camp

Age: 6.5-11 years old

9am- Noon, $150 for Oakley Residents, $160 for Non-Residents

Skyhawks Flag Football is the perfect introduction to America’s Game! Through our “skill of the day” campers will learn skills on both side of the ball including the
core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning – all presented in a fun and positive environment. All campers receive a t-shirt and a merit
award! Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes: bring two snacks, a water bottle, and sunscreen. This camp is perfect for the beginning to
intermediate football player.
