At the last Oakley City Council Meeting, the Council received a report and held a public input session regarding how police services are delivered in Oakley. Acknowledging how critical police services are for a safe, vibrant and successful community, last year the Council directed City staff to begin a specific study about how the City can best maintain (and even improve) these quality police services – especially as the City grows.
Last night, the City Council received a report and held a public input session regarding how police services are delivered in Oakley. The Oakley Police Department is well-regarded, well-respected and doing an outstanding job in working with the community to keep it safe. In fact, Oakley was recently named one of the safest cities in California.
The City of Oakley is currently hiring for part-time staff with the Recreation Department.
