Cityhood Celebration 2012

The Oakley Cityhood Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 7th at 6pm at Freedom Basin. This event will feature food, jumpies, games and music followed by a firework show at dark. Wrstbands will be for sale for $5 a piece for children over 5. For more information contact 925-625-7041.

City of Oakley Seeks Applications for Contra Costa County Library Commission

The term of the current appointee to the Contra Costa County Library Commission will expire June 30, 2013. The City of Oakley is accepting applications for an appointee until Monday, June 17, 2013 at 5 p.m. Applications will be considered by the Oakley City Council on June 25, 2013 at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall located at 3231 Main Street, Oakley, California in which applicants are encouraged to attend.
