Request for Proposals

Lease of Property in  Downtown, Ca at 3080 Main Street.

The City of Oakley is seeking a commercial tenant or tenants to lease 1,300 square feet of retail space located at 3080 Main Street. The newly-constructed building is part of the City’s downtown revitalization efforts and is adjacent to two new restaurants and a public plaza that is under construction. The City aspires to increase the retail/restaurant mix in the Downtown area that will create a bustling downtown district filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues that will help create a destination throughout the day and into the evening.  Proposals should demonstrate compliance with the City of Oakley’s Downtown Specific Plan and be complementary to the adjacent restaurants.

The term of the current appointee to the Contra Costa County Library Commission will expire June 30, 2013. The City of Oakley is accepting applications for an appointee until Monday, May 20, 2013 at 5 p.m. Applications will be considered by the Oakley City Council on May 28, 2013 at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall located at 3231 Main Street, Oakley, California in which applicants are encouraged to attend.
