Fee Deferral Program
The Oakley City Council announces a Fee Deferral Program. This new program allows builders to temporarily postpone the payment of certain development impact fees until the time of final inspection.
Market-rate residential, commercial and industrial projects are eligible. The program goes into effect on Monday August 16, 2009 and lasts until December 31, 2011, or until the equivalent of 250 units worth of fees are deferred.
Similar actions have been taken across the State in response to requests from the Building Community during these economic times.
