OAKLEY DISPOSAL SERVICE

 

Oakley Disposal Service provides residential and commercial garbage recycling and green waste collection and recycling service to the City of Oakley. Garbage is collected weekly. Customers may provide their own 40-gallon can or Oakley Disposal will provide a 96-gallon can on wheels. Green waste is collected on alternate weeks. Oakley Disposal will provide a calendar to remind customers which weeks their green waste will be collected. Customers may either use their own 32-gallon cans or bags for green waste. Curbside recycling is collected weekly. Oakley Disposal provides two recycling bins. The blue bin is for newspaper, colored paper, white paper, computer paper, magazines, and cardboard bundled and tied no larger than 24 inches. The white bin is for glass bottles and jars, aluminum cans, plastic soft drink bottles, containers marked PET #1, colored plastic marked HDPE #2, and tin cans.

Mt. Diablo Recycling

Oakley Disposal Service provides business recycling through Mt. Diablo Recycling. Mt. Diablo Recycling will provide businesses with a 96-gallon container for recycling free of charge that is picked up once a week, providing that the container is full. Cardboard boxes can also be recycled and picked up. There must be at least 20 boxes minimum for a pick-up and boxes must be flattened and stacked neatly.
