Calling All Artists!

The City of Oakley has two exciting opportunities for local artists at our upcoming events. We want you to showcase your artistic ability by decorating a pumpkin for our Oaktober Harvest Festival Contest or submitting an entry into our Veterans Day Student Art Showcase.

October 22nd: Oaktober Harvest Festival Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Artists, it’s time to use a new canvas – pumpkins! The sky is the limit with our pumpkin decorating contest, and we want you to participate. This contest will be in conjunction with our Oaktober Harvest Festival with over 30+ vendors, food trucks, and live music. Simply decorate your pumpkin at home and bring it to the festival, or decorate it at the festival using our materials.

For more information or to submit your Pumpkin Decorating Contest Entry, here: https://forms.gle/g2kgaGexy1kVirZ66

November 11th: Veterans Day Student Art Showcase

We all know men and women who have served in the military. They are people we admire, look up to and respect for the sacrifices they have made in serving our Country, as well as for the courage they demonstrate on and off the battlefield. The City of Oakley invites you to enter your artwork into our Veterans Day Student Art Showcase to honor those who have served.

Submit artwork, here: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/e0A1a1ja8FqNwa3

Please contact Alicia at oleary@ci.oakley.ca.us or call (925) 625-7044 if you have any questions.
