Celebrate Earth Day With Us!

Are you ready to dig in?

The City of Oakley is partnering with Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery (MDRR) and Rotary Club Oakley to plant 20 trees to celebrate Earth Day, and we’d love for you to join us! If you’re interested, please fill out and return our volunteer waiver below and drop it off at City Hall. The City will supply the tools, trees, and various supplies needed for planting, and MDRR will provide light snacks and drinks. Please bring your sunscreen, hats, and gloves if desired, and please be prepared to get dirty.

Join us! It will be a fun way to celebrate Earth Day (on the day after), and it will be a great way to be a part of something that will last for years and years to come. For more details, check out the flyer below.

Date: Saturday, April 23
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: 4020 Summer Lake Drive, Oakley

If you have questions, please reach out to Jesse Dela Cruz at delacruz@ci.oakley.ca.us or (925) 625-7015.
