Creative Movement

Creative Movement is a fun class that encourages students ages 3 – 6 to use their imaginations, express individuality through improvisation, improve motor skills, and build self-esteem as they learn the basics of dance.  Each class session will be structured into five parts:  Creative Play, Warm-up and Stretching, Technique and Dance Vocabulary, Choreography, and Dance Games.  Creative Movement meets Thursdays, November 1 – December 13 (no class 11/22), 3:45 – 4:30 p.m.  The fee is $45 (Oakley residents) and $55 (non-residents) and pre-registration is required.  For additional information contact the City of Oakley Recreation Division at 925-625-7041 or email tumin@ci.oakley.ca.us.
