Do you know a teen looking for employment or volunteer experience? The City of Oakley is hosting the Annual Youth Employment Workshop on Saturday, March 12th at the Oakley Recreation Center from 10am to noon.
The Oakley Youth Advisory Council will present information to help teens narrow down the focus of their job search, complete applications and interview tips. To help get out the nerves we will have mock interview time slots available.
We will also have information about local businesses and organizations that are hiring so that you can submit your applications online while you are here. Staff will be on site with information on paid summer jobs and volunteer work for the City of Oakley Recreation Division. For more information contact the Recreation Division at 925-625-7042
