The 12th Annual Oakley Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, October 23rd from 12 – 4pm at Civic Center Plaza, 3231 Main Street.
Join us for this old fashioned Festival in the park that includes a pumpkin decorating contest, pie walk, costume parade and a canine costume parade. There will be arts & crafts, games, & balloon twisting. More than 35 vendors will be on site along with food vendors selling tasty treats. Admission and parking are FREE.
We welcome our canine companions to walk in a parade of their own at the Festival. Dog owners will receive a free “doggy bag” at the end of the parade, limited to the first 20 canines. The canine costume parade will start at 1:00pm.
The pie walk will be held at 2pm and space is limited. Guests may start registering at 12noon at the City booth on the day of the event. Participants up to age 15 may enter for their chance to win a free mini pie.
Everyone is encouraged to put on their most creative costumes to join us in the costume parade through the park at 3pm. This parade is open to all ages and this is not a contest, simply a fun parade and a great photo opportunity. Children will receive a goody bag at the end of the parade.
In the Pumpkin Decorating Contest guests are encouraged to carve and decorate a pumpkin at home to enter in the contest. Want to enter a pumpkin you decorated at the Oakley Youth Advisory Council booth? You can do that, too! Entries will be displayed throughout the entirety of the event with judging taking place at approximately 3:45. Deadline to enter will be 3:30 pm. Gift cards will be awarded for scariest, funniest and most creative entries.
