The City of Oakley invites the public to provide input which will inform the future of the Oakley Community Park.
Having recently received the properties which will become the City of Oakley’s biggest Park, the City is asking for input. Help review and refine conceptual reviews that are necessary for the City to begin to find the funding necessary for the Park’s development. The estimated cost is over $50 million, requiring a phased approach, as well as grants and partners.
The 55-acre park site is located at the north end of Sellers Road. This will become an access point to the Department of Water Resources’ 1,666 acres of restored wetlands, known as the Dutch Slough Tidal Marsh Restoration Project.
Ball fields, picnic areas, restrooms, playgrounds, trails, boat launch etc. What would you use and want to see?
