Rock the Chalk Returns

We’re excited to bring back our annual Rock the Chalk event this year as Art in the Park! Stop by Civic Center Plaza on Saturday, April 23rd from 10AM to 1PM to come check out the local performances, an artist showcase exhibit, live dance classes, and more!

We have three exciting opportunities for local artists of all ages and mediums to participate in, the deadline for entry is March 28th, 2022.

  • Rock the Chalk: Artists will have the opportunity to create their masterpiece using chalk on a reserved space during the event.
  • Artist Showcase Exhibit: Have you made an art piece that you’d like to showcase? We’re looking for artists to submit their art into our exhibit portion of the event. Art chosen will be displayed outside for attendees to admire during the event.
  • Meet-An-Artist Walk: An opportunity for local artists to network with community members. Each participating artist will receive a table and chair to display their art. This will solely be a networking opportunity and no art or services may be sold.
