Various Locations

Celebrate the City of Oakley’s 25th anniversary with us by visiting a few of our popular parks and spaces. At each location, you can find a frame painted by local organizations and artists for you and your family to take photos with. There is a secret word on the back of each frame. Write the word you find in that park’s box. Some letters have a symbol. Write that letter on the line with the matching symbol at the bottom of the page to spell out or City’s name!

Visit all the locations and turn in your completed worksheet to the Recreation Center to enter a special raffle! This event will be ongoing through June and July. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos using our frames on Facebook and Instagram @oakleyrecreation.

During the Concert in the Park (5:00pm – 9:00pm)

In 1999, The ABC network premiered a new type of game show starring Regis Philbin that would take the country by storm. “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” was first aired on August 16th (not long after the City of Oakley incorporated) and drew over 30 million viewers per night.
