Meet the Finance Department

Tim Przybyla joined the City in July of this year.  Prior to joining the Oakley team, Tim served as the Finance Director for the City of Madera for nearly six years.  Prior to that, he served as the Finance Director for the City of Kerman for ten years, after serving as the Finance Director for the City of Huron for two years.  So, Tim has nearly 18 years of experience as a City Finance Director. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University of Fresno.  Tim is a Certified Public Accountant, with a total of 5 years of experience as an Auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP and Wilcox, Hokokian and Jackson.  He is also an active member of the California State Municipal Finance Officers Association and has nearly 16 years of risk management leadership experience from serving on risk management authority board and committees.  Tim loves the friendly environment and the small town feel that Oakley has maintained as it continues to grow, and he’s happy and excited to serve this community.
