AB 481 requires each law enforcement agency’s governing body to adopt a written military equipment use policy by ordinance in a public forum. Action to commence this mandate must be initiated by May 1, 2022. A copy of the Draft Policy is attached below. By law, it must be posted on the City’s website for at least thirty (30) days for public review/comment before adoption.
