The Vintage Parkway Resurfacing Project from Main Street to Big Break Road was made possible with CalRecycle’s support. CalRecycle funded $30,615.90 towards the project with the use of rubberized pavement. By using rubberized asphalt over 3,554 passenger car tires were diverted from the landfill and incorporated into the pavement. Rubberized asphalt offers improved durability, reduced maintenance costs, and helps reduce roadway noise generated by traffic.
